Frequently Asked Questions...

"How does pricing work?"

  • University Admissions Counselling: this is priced on either a fixed package basis or per hour. Over the long-term, for students in Years 10 to 12 (equivalent of Grades 9 to 11 for US system), the package model is recommended as it results in optimal student support levels throughout the high school journey and thus maximises student outcomes

  • SAT/ACT Test Prep: this is solely priced on a per hour basis

  • Subject Tutoring: this is solely priced on a per hour basis

"Do you host any information sessions?"

Yes, we regularly host hour-long information sessions and webinars for families. These sessions are focussed on painting the overall landscape of the US, UK and European university admissions processes and the key considerations for students on their path to university. They are aimed at families with students in Years 10 to 12, as well as those at the beginning of Year 13 (final year).

"Are you comfortable working online?"

Yes, we have considerable experience working with students online for all three of our services as our students are based globally. We use tools such as graphics tablets and special video calling software (with screen sharing) to aid our work and ensure effective sessions. In our experience, working online can be equally as effective as in-person sessions.

Yes, while our primary focus is on US, UK and European universities (as this is where most of our students apply), we have worked with students who have gained admission and accepted offers to top Canadian universities, such as  McGill, Toronto and British Columbia.

"Do you offer high school subject tuition in other subjects?"

Currently, we only provide subject tuition for various high school Mathematics, Physics and Economics curricula (e.g. GCSE/A-Level, IB and APs). We do not currently cover any other subjects, however we may do so in the near future to meet our clients' needs.

We currently only work on a one-on-one basis to ensure the highest quality outcomes for our students, however we may consider running small group online bootcamps in the future, focused on university application preparation and SAT/ACT test preparation.
